How does your platform work?
Our platform uses advanced algorithms to connect shippers of products with logistics service providers. Shippers share with us their shipping and warehousing requirements and we use AI and Machine Learning to match them with the most appropriate and complementary logistics service provider(s), balancing service, cost and environmental impact. Once an agreement is made, the LSP can provide both transport and warehousing services as required and our platform facilitates the entire process.
What services do you offer?
We offer a comprehensive range of asset-less logistics services, including transportation, warehousing and inventory management. Our software platform allows shippers to find service providers for various modes of transportation, such as road, air, and sea freight. Our warehousing solutions are suitable for short- and long-term requirements and cover all activities from simple pallet in / pallet out to rework, co-packing and much more!

What legal agreement does FLOX use?
The standardised legal template of a Supplier Service Agreement will be tailored to the specific needs of the customer and the scope of the services agreed upon with the Logistics Service Provider (LSP). The template will be made available once a match is found between the customer and an LSP, and it will be presented during the negotiation stage of service scope, rates, and operational requirements.
Does FLOX provide any compensation if there is any damage?
By signing a contract through our platform you are covered under our platform liability cover, which protects you for up to £1,000/tonne in case of any damage or theft. We also work with a range of insurance providers to arrange more comprehensive and bespoke insurance for specific requirements.

But the main aim is to add new operational functionality to the marketplace that ushers in the era of fully flexible and efficient logistics services for customers worldwide. What this means in real terms is a streamlined Control Tower type functionality with an intuitive dashboard and collaborative end-to-end fulfilment tools for customers to optimise operational efficiency and control costs, whilst maximising Customer Service delivery.

How do I find a solution using FLOX?
As a customer you can use the FLOX Marketplace functionality to search for the most appropriate logistics provider using our filters and map. Once you’ve found the most appropriate provider, you can connect directly with them and discuss the specifics of your requirement, get pricing on a range of additional services and confirm a contract.
Is there a minimum requirement to use FLOX?
We are a B2B business and to use the platform you must have a registered company and email address. We do not offer logistics contracts aimed at individuals. There is no minimum size of enquiry but pricing will be more competitive for larger enquiries.
How do you calculate your commission?
We charge a percentage commission on each transaction facilitated through our platform, including both transport and warehousing services . The commission percentage varies based on factors such as the type of service, shipment size, storage duration, and value. Our commission structure is transparent and communicated upfront to all users.
Moreover, we reward all collaborating parties with a cash rebate for adherence to the pre-agreed service levels and co-shipment route schedule, as a bonus for their exact execution of an optimal plan.
Is there a cost advantage to using FLOX?
By connecting with the largest database of logistics service providers and services you ensure you get the most competitive price for your particular enquiry. A significant proportion of our supply is empty capacity from retailers which are exclusive to FLOX and unavailable anywhere else.
FLOX also saves a huge amount of time, and time is money. To find a logistics service provider the process used to take on average six to twelve months to negotiate a contract, depending on the size of the solution. With FLOX we have examples of customers coming to us for the first time and actually starting operations in under 48 hours.
Do I have to sign a lease?
No. We allow customers to access warehousing and transport services on a flexible basis and without the long-term commitment or obligations created by leases. Our default legal contract is a service level agreement which can be in place for as long or as little time as needed.
Do you offer temperature controlled solutions?
We have ambient, chilled and frozen providers on FLOX as well as providers with the ability to control specific temperature ranges and temperature controlled transport if required. Our search functionality allows you to filter for temperature controlled solutions.
Do you offer specialist or accredited solutions?
We have providers on the marketplace for bulk products, hazardous products, bonded warehousing (dry and wet), pharmaceuticals and outdoor storage. A large number of our suppliers are accredited through organisations such as BRC, MHRA and other professional accreditation bodies.

Why should I list my services?
The FLOX Marketplace allows any logistics service provider to attract customers and optimise their assets. FLOX makes it possible to market your services to our business users globally. We have customers ranging from small growing UK businesses to large international enterprises all looking for logistics solutions, which brings a huge increase in visibility for your services.
How do I list my services?
Providers can sign up to the platform, create an account and complete your profile. You can then use the functionality to list the specific capacity available and specify the costs. Your solutions will then be Live and available and customers will be able to search and connect directly with the logistics service providers.
What information is visible to shippers?
Customers will be able to see the pricing that you have listed, as well as your business information and services: location, accreditations, facilities, service capabilities and any other profile information. The customer will not be able to see your site name or contact details until they have connected with you through the platform.
How much does it cost to list space on FLOX?
It is completely free to create a profile, list services and receive customer enquiries from FLOX. We charge a commission only on successful transactions through the platform. Pricing details are available here.
How long is a commission paid to FLOX for?
FLOX charges a commission for the entirety of the agreement.
Can I manage multiple sites through the FLOX Marketplace?
Yes. After setting up your account, you can use the site functionality to set up additional accounts belonging to the same company and manage requests for each site through one profile on FLOX Marketplace.
What factors affect my rating within the FLOX Marketplace?
Your rating is driven by the number of deals you have done through FLOX and also feedback from customers. Your rating is visible to all customers of the site and affects the number of direct enquiries you will receive.
How can I increase my chances of finding customers?
The best way to increase your chances of attracting and contacting on the FLOX platform is by having a fully completed and accurate profile, maintaining a strong supplier rating within the system and fair pricing for space and services.
